About us
The Birth Of Tavaki
TAVAKI finds its roots in the Sanskrit word “TVAK” — meaning “breathing life into skin.” Inspired by Ayurveda and guided by modern science, we proudly stand as India’s first “Nature to Skin” premium brand. What began as a vision has now become a movement: to craft skincare and wellness products that are deeply nourishing, toxin-free, and steeped in Indian heritage.
Founder’s Journey
Our story is also the story of Rohila Hashmat, who grew up in a small town where women were rarely encouraged to step into business. Breaking barriers, she became the first entrepreneur in her family. Her career began as a Quality Executive in the FMCG sector, later evolving into roles as a Product Safety Auditor and Corporate Trainer. Working with brands on labels, safety, and operations gave her deep insights into what consumers truly want — products they can trust for their authenticity, safety, and effectiveness. That vision gave birth to TAVAKI: a brand built on integrity, honesty, and mindful living.
From Helping Brands to Becoming a Brand
“For me, Tavaki is more than a business; it is a promise. A promise to give consumers confidence that every creation is authentically pure, effective, and honest — while reflecting a vision of integrity and mindful living.”
